For the second consecutive year, the city of Kissimmee will serve as an official host for "The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson (WLSL)."

It will take place Friday, June 20 at the Bob Makinson Aquatic Center, 2204 Denn John Lane.

Participants are asked to arrive at 10 a.m. to register.

The record attempt will begin at 11 a.m.

Nearly 300 people participated in the free lesson at the Kissimmee center, which includes the lesson, mermaid encounter, music, a few surprise guests and more.

Team WLSL holds the current Guinness World Record for the largest simultaneous swimming lesson, spanning five continents.
