Two men ended up shot Sunday night after an altercation in the Pine Hills section of Orange County before one of the men fled the scene and later died at a local hospital, investigators said.

The shooting happened around 8:15 p.m. on Bolling Drive, north of Colonial Drive and east of Powers Drive.

Investigators said Elijah Robinson, 29, and Octavious Evans, 23, were both shot in the altercation.

When deputies arrived, they treated Evans for his injuries and transported him to a nearby hospital.

Deputies said Robinson, believed to be a suspect in the shooting, had left the scene with another person who dropped him off at Health Central Hospital, where Robinson later died from his injuries.

Investigators said they are trying to determine what led to the shooting, and they are looking for help to identify the person who drove Robinson to the hospital.
