A student at a Brevard County elementary school has been accused of passing out prescription and over-the-counter pills, school officials said.
A student reported to the principal at Columbia Elementary School on April 29 that a third-grade student was passing out pills after school on the previous day.
Most of the pills were thrown away when passed to the students, and there were no injuries as a result of the incident, according to a letter sent to parents by Pamela Blount, the school's principal.
Disciplinary actions were taken, officials said.
