Investigators with the Daytona Beach Police Department arrested a man on charges related to child pornography on Wednesday, April 30.
Police were following up on an online investigation and tracking the IP address of the suspect, William Wiese, 24, to his residence in Daytona Beach.
Police briefly interviewed Wiese's roommates, and according to the police report, when investigators interviewed Wiese, he admitted to investigators that he had downloaded child pornography, that he had been doing so for almost a decade as well as the keywords and software he uses in searches.
After a forensic investigation of the computer, police located two dozen images of child pornography.
Wiese is now facing 24 charges of possessing photos of the sexual performance of a child.
