A Lake County woman has become one of the top donors in the nation.
OneBlood reports Mary Lory, of Lake County, has donated 125 gallons of blood over the past 30 years.
That's essentially 1,000 blood donations.
Keep in mind the average person has approximately 5.5 liters of blood in their body, just less than 1.5 gallons.
A OneBlood spokeswoman says Lory is one of the biggest blood donors in the entire country.
