A bomb threat from an unknown male caller forced the temporary lockdown of three schools in Orlando today.

Jones High School, Boone High School, and nearby Blankner Elementary were all put on lockdown around 1:30 p.m.

Authorities conducted a search and found nothing suspicious at Boone High School, and subsequently lifted the lockdown for Boone, as well as Blankner Elementary just before 2 p.m.

Shortly after 2 p.m. during the search of Jones High School authorities found an unattended backpack that is being checked out as a precaution.

The lockdown at Jones High School was lifted and students at Jones High School have been dismissed.
