Detectives are asking for the public's help to identify three suspects who stole a car and then attempted to use the bank cards that were found inside the vehicle at area stores.

A 2006 four-door silver Chevrolet HHR was stolen between 10 p.m. Sunday, April 20, and 6:30 a.m. Monday, April 21, from a home along Southeast 114th Lane, in Belleview, according to Marion County Sheriff's Office detectives.

Inside the vehicle were the victim's purse with credit cards.

Detectives said the suspects are one white male and two black males.

The suspects tried to use the victim's bank cards at convenience stores and a Walmart in Marion and Alachua counties. Photos captured the suspects in action.

"Detectives are hoping when you look at the photos, you'll recognize these suspects and call the Sheriff's Office immediately," said Judge Cochran, public information officer for the Marion County Sheriff's Office.
