The search is on for a man who robbed a TD Bank in Volusia County, police said.

Port Orange police said a white man wearing dark clothing entered the TD Bank at 1101 Dunlawton Ave. around 3:54 p.m. Monday and handed the teller a note wanting all the money.

The man implied he had a weapon, but one wasn't seen, police said.

An undisclosed amount of money was given to the man, who stuffed the money down the front of his shirt, police said.

The man then exited the front of the bank and headed east. He was seen getting into a dark-colored sedan leaving the area.

Police searched the area but couldn't locate the suspect.

The man is described as approximately 6-feet-tall weighing between 180 pounds and 200 pounds.

Anyone with information regarding this incident or the possible identity of the suspect is asked to contact Port Orange Police Department Detective Ted Kurtz at 386-506-5883.
