A Marion County couple are out of jail following their arrests Saturday.

Marion County deputies said Jessica Price and Eric Westman, both 37, were arrested around 3:30 p.m. at their home on Northeast 37th Street.

Deputies said Price, a deputy and a Florida Department of Children and Families investigator were conducting a walkthrough of the residence.

The deputy smelled marijuana and asked Price if they could search a room. She said to wait until Westman arrived.

Deputies said she ignored several warnings and was arrested for resisting an officer/obstructing justice without violence.

When WEstman arrived a short time later, he signed a permission form granting the search.

The deputy found six glass methamphetamine pipes, numerous pills, scales, marijuana pipes, plastic bags and more than $800 inside the room. Fifty-eight grams of methamphetamine, 23 grams of cocaine, 1,677 grams of marijuana and several guns, including a loaded AK-47, were found inside.

Westman was arrested and charged with six counts of drug possession, display of a firearm during a felony and five counts of drug trafficking.

Price and Westman were released Sunday on $500 and $80,500 bond respectively.
