A Seminole County school receives an award that only a few schools in the world can brag about.
Milwee Middle School was recognized as one of only 30 programs worldwide to earn the prestigious Program Excellence Award at the recent annual conference for the International Technology and Engineering Educator Association.
It’s one of the highest honors given to technology and engineering classroom programs at all grade levels.
Milwee’s magnet program is designed to prepare middle schoolers for careers in engineering.
