The perfect prom dress is one of the biggest expenses, but SavingsAngel's Josh Elledge explained how you can save:
"If you want the perfect dress, I want you to do some research. If you just stroll into the department store and get what you want, you are going to pay for it," said Elledge. "We want to get more prom experience and more prom for the money. I want you to check with consignment shops. I want you to check with formal clothing rentals. I want you to check with bridal shops. I want you to check online. If you put a little bit of effort into it, I promise you will get a better dress for a much better price."
