Have you ever wondered what its like to touch a cownosed stingray, hold a hermit crab in your hand, or come face to face with sea turtles? Now you can do all that as part of Turtle Day.
That event will be held Saturday, April 19 at the Marine Science Center in Ponce Inlet. It celebrates sea turtle and seabird rehabilitation.
Staff will be on hand to explain to you how they nurse sea turtles and injured birds back to health.
Here's the best part, the cost is absolutely free. There's entertainment, food, exhibits, a touch tank and more.
