The man who Daytona Beach police wanted to question in connection with a murder investigation was found dead over the weekend.
Thomas Tomkiewicz was found lying face down in between two buildings on Sunday morning in Key West.
Police were looking for him after his girlfriend was found dead in her bed with a sheet over her body last week on Vermont Avenue, near International Speedway Boulevard.
Investigators believe the victim, 55-year-old Ann Antonaccio, was murdered. She was found with knife injuries to her throat.
Police said Tomkiewicz was last seen leaving Antonaccio's house in her vehicle after he told neighbors the victim left town.
Tomkiewicz's death is now also being investigated, but police are still searching for the Antonaccio's car: a white 1999 Toyota sedan with Florida license plate No. J740HM.
