An Osceola County man is facing charges after deputies say he was involved in prostitution.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year-old Abilio Medina after they responded to a prostitution ad online.

The investigation began Feb. 27 when undercover officers met up with a prostitute and arrested her.

Deputies said the victim had noticeable bruises on her arm and said she tried to leave Medina several times.

She told police that she was in fear of her life because Medina would set up meetings for her with different men.

She said after she had sex with the men, he would take her money and threaten to hurt her if she didn't work for him.

He's charged with human trafficking, kidnapping, prostitution and resisting arrest without violence.

Medina was booked into the Osceola County Jail where he remains without bond.
