Drier and cooler air returns to Central Florida to end the week. By the weekend, a reinforcing dry frontal passage keeps pleasant conditions in place.

Expect a chilly night as lows drop into the upper-30s and low-40s. Typically colder spots will drop into the low to mid-30s.

The following winter weather advisories have been issued for Friday morning:

  • Freeze Warning
    • 4-8 a.m. Friday for: Marion County
  • Frost Advisory
    • 3-9 a.m. Friday for: Sumter County
    • 4-8 a.m. Friday for: Flagler County

Friday after the chilly start, high pressure builds in keeping light winds and plenty of sunshine across Central Florida. High temperatures will be below normal, in the mid to upper-60s.

This weekend, a weak front moves through reinforcing the drier air overhead. Despite the frontal passage, temperatures will continue a slow climb back to normal.
