One Flagler County city is close to putting a planned renovation on its community center on hold.
But council members are taking a closer look at expanding the new city hall project to include a community meeting space.
That space was going to be built during a second phase in a few years.
City staff told council if that community room is built at the same time as the city hall building, it would bring significant savings.
Once that is done, work could begin on the current community center.
They could vote on the proposal at next Tuesday's city council meeting.
