A Sanford man was killed in a head-on crash Wednesday night in Seminole County.
The crash happened on State Road 46 at Ross Lake Lane.
The Florida Highway Patrol said around 7 p.m. a man, whose name has not been released, was heading west and drove into the eastbound lane and hit a car driven by 65-year-old Mary Strates of Deltona.
Both of the drivers were transported to Central Florida Regional Hospital where the man died and Strates is in serious condition.
FHP said the crash remains under investigation.
