A Flagler County-based charity struggling to find bicycles for kids in need this holiday season found some generous angels.

“Christmas Come True" will provide gifts and food to nearly 100 families in need this holiday season.

But as we first told you last month, the charity lost a partnership which provided bicycles to those who asked for them.

Jamie Forrest with Florida Hospital Care Advantage, a part of Health First Health Plans, saw that story and decided something needed to be done.

This past Friday, she delivered a $5,000 check to Nadine King, the founder of Christmas Come True, to help buy bikes.

At last count, more than 260 Flagler County children will be helped by this army of volunteers.
