A tragic crash near the holidays left three members of a prominent Brevard County family dead, including a mother and her young child, plus a fourth person in the other car involved in the head-on collision Sunday night.
The crash happened in Christmas, in East Orange County, at the intersection of State Road 50 and Cupid Avenue around 9 p.m.
The Florida Highway Patrol said a 32-year-old Orlando man was driving an older-model SUV westbound in the eastbound lane of S.R. 50, when he collided head-on with a Honda driving eastbound.
The unidentified man was killed, as well as the other three people inside the other car:
- Cameron Greene, 22, of Cocoa
- Paige Altman, 20, of Titusville
- Kylee Altman, Paige's 2-year-old daughter
The Altman family has run an air conditioning repair business in Titusville for 35 years.
The crash remains under investigation, troopers said.
