A couple arrested for having public sex in Sumter County have both been sentenced to six months in jail.
Deputies found James Adams and Charm Gilbert naked on top of a utility box near The Villages Regional Hospital Oct. 1.
When asked why they were having sex in public, deputies said the couple told them they had nowhere else to go.
Adams and Gilbert were charged with indecent exposure and disturbing the peace.
