A man is dead in Marion County after investigators said he walked into the path of a bus.
Around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, the Florida Highway Patrol said 52-year-old Charles Davis Jr. died near the Body Shots strip club on South Pine Avenue, also known as US-441.
Troopers said Davis was arguing with the club’s staff when he walked backwards away from the curb, onto US-441 and was hit by a bus.
Davis was pronounced dead at the scene.
It's unclear if Davis had been inside the strip club before the incident happened.
Troopers said charges are pending.
