Four children and one adult have been rescued after getting lost in the Little Big Econ State Forest.

Seminole County Fire officials said the five were riding their bikes on the forest trails, but got lost when they came across some flooded trails.

They called for help and the sheriff's helicopter was able to find them quickly.

However, it took a while to get to the group because they were so far into the forest.

"It's swollen beyond its banks and that's what covered the trails and got the children off the trail. They were trying to go around the water," said Division Chief Ed Forrest.

All five are home safe and sound. Despite being just a little wet and cold, none of them were injured.
