A lawsuit has officially been filed against the former Casselberry police chief, and it accuses him of sexual harassment.

Attorney Carlos Burruezo electronically filed the lawsuit on behalf of two women and one man around 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, against former Casselberry Police Chief Bill McNeil.

The women claim McNeil sent explicit text messages, graphic nude pictures and videos to them. The man claims he was harassed because of his age and because he is Hispanic.

Burruezo also represents three other clients, but it's not clear if he'll file an additional lawsuit on their behalf.

A spokesperson with the city of Casselberry said "no formal complaints" were ever filed.

McNeil resigned hours after the city began an internal investigation.
