Joseph Parrott has been found guilty of aiming a laser pointer at an Orange County Sheriff's Office helicopter.
Deputies say the incident happened around 3 a.m. on July 2nd while the helicopter was responding to a call.
Deputies say that call was for an attempted burglary near East Colonial Drive in Orlando.
Parrott faces a maximum of five years in federal prison, and his sentencing hearing is set for February 2015.
