The Osceola County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team participated in the 32nd Annual SWAT Round-Up International Competition held in Orange County and placed 8th out of 51 teams worldwide.
Special operations teams from law enforcement agencies all over the world competed in five team and several individual challenges.
Members of the team competing this year were Team Co-Captains Rich Doty and Glenn White and team member: Cory Griffin, Josh Rios, Tate Wilson, Nicholas Wacker, Ryan Holl and Chris Hall.
The Osceola County Sheriff's Office SWAT team consists of 27 members. In addition to their regular duties, team members work on call to assist with search warrants and respond to critical incidents.
