An Osceola County woman accused of stabbing her ex-boyfriend to death reportedly told investigators she did it because she believed he "put a curse on her," according to her arrest affidavit.

News 13 obtained the report Wednesday, in which Kissimmee police said Amanda Lopez told detectives she had thought about killing Larry Lee Fryar for over a year.

Lopez, 26, was arrested Monday in Orlando, where police said she tried to catch a bus to New York. She was charged with first-degree murder and moved from Orange County to the Osceola County Jail without bond Tuesday.

Police found Fryar, 57, in an apartment on Lake Tivoli Boulevard with stab wounds.

He called 911 shortly after the stabbing.

Fryar: "Hurry."
911: "What's wrong sir?"
Fryar: "I've been stabbed."
911: "Sir, who stabbed you?"

He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.

In the arrest affidavit, Kissimmee police said Lopez felt Fryar had "done something to her," and "she needed to be free from the demons."

One of the victim's neighbors said he isn't sure what to believe.

"It could be anything," said Joey Stuart, a resident. "It could be a cover-up that she did want to murder somebody or it could be that she really was possessed by someone."

Stuart said some people believe demons can cause possessions and seek help for it.

Police said an autopsy report showed Fryar had approximately eight stab wounds.

A police department spokesperson said their investigation is now over and have turned the case over to the State Attorney's Office, who will then decide how it is handled.
