If you want to weigh in on the legalization of medical marijuana or who will be our next governor, time is running out.

Today is your last day to register to vote and your registration form must be at the Supervisor of Elections Office by 5 p.m. Volusia County's Supervisor of Elections office will be open until 7 p.m.

Several candidates are vying for the gubernatorial victory including Republican Gov. Rick Scott, Democrat and former Gov. Charlie Crist and Libertarian Adrian Wyllie.

The hot topic of medical marijuana is also on November's ballot. Voters will decide whether or not to legalize the sale or use of the drug in Florida.

The amendment does require a 60 percent voter approval to pass.

Supporters said it's needed to help people who are suffering. However, opponents are concerned a passing vote will lead to widespread abuse of the drug.

A group of supporters called United For Care, led by John and Tim Morgan, will begin a bus tour Monday featuring student rallies, speeches, forums and town hall discussions.

Dozens rallied outside the University of Central Florida's Student Union Monday morning.

A second town hall discussion is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Winter Park Civic Center.

Among the other questions on November’s ballot include two other amendments regarding how judges are selected and the way funds are allocated to restore the Sunshine State’s conservation and recreation lands.
