Sheriff's deputies responded to a shooting in Mount Dora Thursday afternoon, that required air transport to a hospital for one of the victims.
The shooting occurred at 30115 Cheval Street around 12:30 p.m.
Detectives and CSI teams tried to sort out details at the scene that Lake County Sheriff's Office officials described as very active.
One victim was flown to Orlando Regional Medical Center, an was communicating with medical staff before she entered emergency surgery.
Detectives are reviewing 911 calls and witness testimony now. Anyone with information is asked to call the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
