Several arrests made recently in Volusia County have led even more arrests and the take down of what deputies believe may have been a robbery ring that spanned several counties.

After two initial arrests were made, investigators raided the houses of six additional suspects, locating items used in, or obtained from numerous thefts and robberies.

On Thursday, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office announced five more arrests had been made -- three adults and two more juveniles -- in connection to the recent rash of armed robberies.

Jahkhari Hunter, 20, Lake Mary, was arrested and charged with solicitation to commit armed robbery and being an accessory after the fact in connection to the robbery to the Winn-Dixie on Howland Boulevard on September 20.

Terry Peterson, 18, DeLand, was arrested and charged with principal to armed robbery in connection to the Valero robbery on East New York Avenue on October 10.

And Justin Smith, age 24, DeLand, was arrested and charged with being an accessory after the fact in connection to the robbery to the Circle K on Howland Boulevard on August 12.

Two juveniles a 16- and 17-year-old were also arrested and are facing charges related to armed robberies. Both juveniles are from Deltona.
