An employee at an Orange County restaurant was shot by a customer late Thursday morning following an argument deputies said.
The shooting happened around 11:30 a.m. at Leroy's Jamaican Cuisine located at 720 North Hasting Street.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said the female employee was working at the walk up window and taking care of a known customer. Deputies said when the food was ready the man asked how much and an argument occurred and he shot the female worker through the window striking her in the abdomen.
Orange County Fire Rescue transported her to the hospital.
The name of the victim has not been released.
Deputies are looking for the suspect.
