All lanes of I-4 East at the St. Johns River Bridge are back open after being closed for several hours due to a fatal motorcycle crash.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 2:19 a.m. at mile marker 106 in Deltona.

Troopers saidTyler Dreher, 32, of Deltona, was driving his motorcycle at a high rate of speed and for an unknown reason didn't slow down as he approached a car driven by Shandra Stephens, 45, of Orange Park.  FHP said Dreher was ejected from the motorcycle and died at the scene.

Right after the motorcycle accident investigators said a car tried to avoid the crash and hit the guardrail and then another car hit debris from crash.

A short later FHP said a Seminole County Sheriff’s Office deputy collided with a semi-truck while responding to the scene.

The driver of the car and semi-truck as well as the deputy all suffered minor injuries.

"In all, the four collisions that took place, the only serious injuries we had was the motorcyclist that did pass away on scene, other than that all other injuries were very minor and no other transports were taken from here on scene," said Trooper Steven Montiero.

The investigation remains under investigation.
