With less than two weeks to go on the campaign trail - Charlie Crist's running mate Annette Taddeo made a stop in Orlando.

Taddeo took part in the national "Put The Middle Class First" bus tour.

The lieutenant governor candidate emphasized how important she believes raising the minimum wage is.

Many Republicans are against such a move, saying raising the minimum wage will cost jobs in the marketplace.

Liberterian Gubernatorial Candidate Adrian Wylie is also against it, but Taddeo and Crist support it.

"I know what it's like; I lived off the minimum wage and I remember going to the store and having to take out things from my basket because I couldn't afford everything I was trying to buy. We need to understand what it's like to live off the minimum wage and that people need a livable wage, which is why Charlie and I want to raise it to $10.10 an hour," said Taddeo.

Taddeo also stressed the importance of investing in smaller businesses and not giving all tax cuts to big corporations.
