Deputies in Osceola County were honored by MADD for their effort to apprehend and arrest drunk drivers.
The Osceola County Sheriff Office Traffic Unit received top honors at the 28th Annual MADD Law Enforcement and Prosecutors Recognition Ceremony. Each year, Mothers Against Drunk Driving of Central Florida recognizes law enforcement officers and agencies for their efforts to aggressively apprehend and arrest drunk drivers.
Deputy James Lamb and Deputy Vincent Pedulla received the LifeSaver Award of Excellence, Deputy Chris Blow was awarded Rookie of the Year and Sgt. Brian Adams received special recognition for serving as a Walk Like MADD Team Captain.
