After completing its mission, a SpaceX Dragon capsule is set to return to Earth this weekend.

After a month-long stay at the International Space Station, the Dragon is getting ready to depart the orbiting outpost for home and a Pacific Ocean splashdown. It delivered approximately 5,000 pounds of supplies and experiments to the ISS.

The capsule will return to Earth with 3,200 pounds of cargo, including science samples and education efforts from NASA.

It will be released from the station just before 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25.

The Dragon launched on board a Falcon 9 rocket Sept. 21 from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
