In documents released Thursday in the case against Luis Toledo, the Deltona man allegedly told a neighbor that he "snapped," killing his wife, Yessenia Suarez, and her two children.

Nearly 300 pages of new documents are now being made public in the investigation, including interviews with the man Toledo reportedly asked to help him after he allegedly killed his family.

Luis Toledo’s neighbor Tyshawn Jackson told investigators that Toledo told him, “I snapped” after he allegedly dumped his wife’s car in Sanford.

After that, Jackson said he zoned out and never questioned Toledo about what he meant by “I snapped” because he was scared and wanted to get out of there.

However, Jackson did tell investigators he saw Toledo wipe down his wife’s car and throw a bag and a floor mat away in a dumpster.

Jackson said before that day, he and Toledo were friends who would play video games together. Jackson said that he would frequently play basketball with the children and occasionally eat dinner with Toledo’s family.

The documents also have a transcription of an interview with Kevin Dredden, the co-worker who said he was having an affair with Yessenia Suarez.

He said Luis Toledo called him, saying that he knew about the affair and wanted to talk to him about it in person. But afterwards Toledo visited Yessenia’s job and confronted both of them.

Dredden also said he briefly talked to Yessenia later that night but her speech was slurred. And that was the last time anyone has heard from her.

Toledo has been charged with killing his wife and her two children.  A trial date has not been set but is supposed to take place next year.
