A committee in one Flagler County city is looking for public input as they try to put together a parking plan.

Flagler Beach has been trying to come up with a parking plan for its busiest areas, mainly along State Road A1A next to the beach.

An ad-hoc committee made up of city representatives as well as private citizens has been meeting for a year-and-a-half. The mission is to present a parking plan, which may or may not include paid parking, to the city commission for approval.

As this committee gets closer to making that final recommendation, they want to hear from Flagler Beach residents.

Next Tuesday, Oct. 28, a forum for city residents will be held in the city commission chambers.

It will be similar to a forum held Tuesday night with business owners, with people broken up into smaller discussion groups.

Information from these two forums will be used by the committee as they finalize their recommendations.
