A man who police said accidentally set himself on fire while trying to burn down a Daytona Beach apartment in July is now out of the hospital and in jail.
Arthur Avery, 31, was arrested by Daytona Beach Police on Tuesday on seven counts of Attempted First Degree Murder and First Degree Arson to a Dwelling. He is being held on a no bond status.
The South Daytona Beach Police Department said Avery was robbed in July and went to the apartment of a person whom he believed robbed him and set it on fire.
Investigators said after he started the blaze he accidentally set himself on fire.
Police are still looking for a man named Frederick Woods who they believe helped Avery.
