Two women from Port St. Lucie were killed Monday evening in a crash involving three vehicles in Flagler County at the intersection of State Road 100 and County Road 305.

The Florida Highway Patrol said a car driven by Jody Alan Hyde, 26, of Calhoun, Ga. was traveling west on State Road 100.  Troopers said as she was approaching the intersection of County Road 305 she failed to react to the stopped traffic and struck the front of a car driven by Eileen Wojczyszyn, 54, of Palm Coast.

Investigators said the impact pushed Wojczyszyn’s car into the eastbound lane of State Road 100 directly in the path of a car driven by Carl E. Alley, Jr., 50, from Port St. Lucie.

The two passengers in Alley Jr’s car, Elizabeth Jean Alley, 45, and Vada Stafford Delk, 72, both of Port St. Lucie were killed.  Carl E. Alley, Jr., is in serious condition at Halifax Medical Center.

Eileen Wojczyszyn is in critical condition at Halifax Medical Center.

Hyde was not injured.  FHP said charges are pending.
