A jury was seated Monday in Seminole County for a man charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of his wife three years ago.
Dwayne White, 44, is accused of stabbing his wife, Sarah Rucker, to death in August 2011. Her body was found in the parking lot of a Miami Subs Grill in Longwood.
The Seminole County Sheriff's Office said Rucker was stabbed in the neck several times.
Just hours before she was found dead, investigators from the Volusia County Sheriff's Office said Rucker called 911, telling the operator that her estranged husband was dangerous.
Rucker, 42, was a mother of four from Deltona and worked as a surgical tech at Florida Hospital Altamonte.
Prosecutors in Seminole County are seeking the death penalty against White.
Testimony begins Tuesday.
