Early voting begins in several Central Florida counties

Early voting got underway Monday in Orange County, and leaders want you to get out there and make your vote count in this election.

There are a lot of big races, and a lot of things voters need to know before they head to the polls.

You can cast your ballot from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Sunday, Nov. 2.

While voters are heading to the polls, major candidates are ramping up their campaigns. Gov. Rick Scott, our Republican incumbent, made stops in Orlando on Monday, visiting High Tide Harry’s on Semoran Boulevard and meeting with supporters.

His Democratic challenger, Charlie Crist, campaigned in St. Petersburg, and Libertarian candidate Adrian Wyllie is making a radio appearance.

If you don’t take part in early voting you still have the option to mail in an absentee ballot or wait until Election Day.
