A bicyclist is in critical but stable condition after being hit by a vehicle Sunday night in Brevard County.
The Melbourne Police Department said it happened around 7:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of Sarno Road when a 2006 Ford Explorer changed lanes and struck the 53-year-old man on his bicycle.
Investigators said the bicyclist ended up on the side of the road. He was rushed to Holmes Regional Medical Center.
The crash remains under investigation, police said.
