The weak front is expected to lift back north on Monday. This will allow for a slight chance for showers, mainly along the coast.

Even though there is a small chance for rain, expect mostly sunny skies with warm temperatures climbing into the middle-to-low 80s.

Later in the week, our chance of rain increases due to the possibility for a low to form along the stalled-out front in the Bay of Campeche.

We had gorgeous weather all weekend long, and it will mostly continue into Monday. There are a few minor changes, though, for the start of the work week.

With winds a bit stronger out of the east-northeast behind the front, some offshore showers may be able to work their way inland overnight. The added moisture may also help to produce some patchy inland fog as we head toward daybreak on Monday. Otherwise, partly cloudy skies are in the forecast with lows in the middle-to-upper 60s.

At this time, it seems the low will pass through South Florida, so most of the rain will pass to the south of Central Florida. We have the greatest chance for rain Friday, and then as the low moves into the Atlantic Ocean, rain chances will drop off as cooler, drier air is drawn into Florida behind the low. For now, next weekend will be nice with highs near 80 degrees and lows dropping off to near 60 degrees again.

In the tropics, Gonzalo is now a post-tropical low racing to the northeast. There are two other areas of concern in the tropics. Low pressure is expected to develop near the African coast and has a medium chance for tropical development in the next five days. The area of low pressure that will increase our rain chances this week also has a medium chance for tropical development in the next five days.
