More than 20 restaurant chains will post their calorie counts on menus, but researchers say that won't stop people from eating their food.

Those researchers say the numbers actually don't mean much to a lot of people. They say, however, that showing them how much activity they would have to do to burn off those calories is a different story.

Researchers posted different types of signs around six stores in Baltimore.

For instance, a 165-pound woman would have to jump rope for 45 minutes to burn off two slices of pepperoni pizza.

Researchers say people who saw the signs were more likely to opt for healthier menu options.
