A Lake County toll booth worker was arrested Tuesday accused of stealing more than $1,600 from his toll booth.
The Florida Highway Patrol said investigators discovered the money missing at the booths Carlos Acevedo, 29, worked during the past month at the Florida's Turnpike plaza near Leesburg.
Acevedo was arrested after investigators said they caught him on video and found $50 in tolls he pocketed that day.
Acevedo is charged with grand theft and free on $2,500 bond.
