A homicide investigation is underway in Marion County after is a man is found shot dead in a car.
The body of 38-year-old Gregory Ellis was found in a car at the Quail Run Apartment Complex off County Road 475A.
Sheriff's investigators say a woman heard a "pop" noise around 8:30 p.m. Monday.
She looked out her window and saw a man sitting in a dark-colored car.
Ellis' body has been taken by the medical examiner's office.
