Several drivers were waiting in line Saturday morning in Volusia County to fill up their vehicles with some of the area's cheapest gasoline.
Gas at the CITGO, located at 950 Reed Canal Road, in South Daytona, was at $2.99 per gallon late Friday and into Saturday morning.
The tanks were empty by Saturday morning, though.
But several cars were lined up waiting for the next shipment. One customer said he waited about 45 minutes.
"(I) have nothing better to do but wait for cheap gas," Rick Vantassel said.
The gas truck arrived around 10:30 a.m. Cars were hovering around and parked as soon as the truck pulled into the station.
The gas station's manager said he is already calling to bring in more deliveries.
According to GasBuddy.com, the next cheapest gas in South Daytona is $3.09, at the Shell gas station located at 1800 S. Nova Road.
