Several train crossings in downtown Orlando are back open after being closed for three hours after a train hit an unoccupied truck on Amelia Street.
Orlando Police said no one was in the truck when the train hit around 6:20 a.m.
Investigators said the stopped train is blocking train crossings from Amelia Street to Virginia including the Colonial Drive (SR 50) crossing. Orlando Police said traffic is backed up all over downtown and the crossings will be blocked for several hours.
Police said both the truck and train were damaged and repairs were needed on the train before it was able to start moving again.
