The website TMZ reported Thursday that George Zimmerman went shopping for a shotgun in Cocoa.  The website posted a photo of Zimmerman with an employee at the Kel-Tec gun manufacturing company in Cocoa.

TMZ reported Zimmerman went to the company on Cox Road.

A representative of O'Mara's law firm couldn't confirm or deny Zimmerman made the visit but Zimmerman's brother Robert Zimmerman, Jr. spoke out against the TMZ report on his Twitter account.

Robert Zimmerman, Jr said:

"@TMZ GZ Story is wrong, George was not in Cocoa w/ his atty @Markomaralaw. Rush 2 publish false "scoops" much?"

While at Kel-Tec, Zimmerman reportedly asked about the legality of buying the Kel-Tec KSG, which is often used for home defense and holds 12 rounds of 12 gauge shells.

Kel-Tec also made the handgun Zimmerman used to kill Trayvon Martin, a 9 mm semi-automatic.

It's not clear if he actually bought the shotgun during his visit.

Last month, Zimmerman was stopped for speeding in Texas.

According to the Texas State Patrol, Zimmerman told the trooper during the traffic stop there was a gun in the glove compartment.

Zimmerman was found not guilty of second-degree murder in the shooting death of Martin.
