You've seen him on commercials saying he's "For the People." Now, Orlando attorney John Morgan is "For Tim Tebow."
Morgan's law firm Morgan and Morgan released an ad on the firm's official YouTube account. In it, Morgan makes a case for the Jacksonville Jaguars to sign the former Denver Broncos and New York Jets quarterback.
The ad will reportedly play on TV and radio in the Jacksonville area.
So, why is Morgan doing all of this?
John Morgan’s son says they’re not just big fans, they love the guy.
“We love Tim Tebow. We absolutely love Tim Tebow. All of us went to the University of Florida. So, my older brother, myself, my sister, my younger brother, we all went to the University of Florida,” explains Matt Morgan.
The ad goes on to talk about Tebow’s track record, playing on two national championship teams. People all over are talking about it, but is there anything to this campaign by a prominent attorney?
“Oh, I think it would be great. I think it would be great for Jacksonville and for the state. They would sell out,” exclaims Tebow fan Cheryl Kerley.
Robert Brooks isn’t a Tebow fan but has this to say, “I mean, I’m not a big fan of Tebow. I’m not even going to lie. But, Tebow…he is a money-maker.”
All-around football fan Jose Aponte says, “He’s a galvanizing type of individual, that people are attracted to him. You either love him or you hate him. I honestly believe that he’s the type of guy that not only would sell out that stadium, but he can do stuff.”
“Steven A. Smith was talking about it this morning on ESPN. We’ve been getting calls from across the country on this,” Matt Morgan said.
Matt Morgan says it’s because people know his dad is right. Cheryl Kerley says the Jacksonville Jaguars and Florida need Tebow.
And if the campaign is successful and wishes come true…
“Give our guy a shot. I’ll even buy that box you tried to sell me,” says John Morgan in the ad.
Tebow is from the Jacksonville area and has been a free agent since the Jets released him last month.
