Crews are busy preparing the Citrus Bowl for Saturday’s big game; the Russell Athletic Bowl with Miami versus Louisville.

Days later, South Carolina and Wisconsin take the field in the Capital One Bowl.

Fans picking up tickets for this weekend’s game were excited.

“I’m going to support kids I saw grow up playing Pop Warner and just want to follow them. Also, a kid from Louisville named Teddy Bridgewater. He grew up in my hometown,” said Bobby Jones, a Miami fan.

The stadium seats more than 65,000 people.

Representatives for the Citrus Bowl predicted crowds for both bowl games to be about 120,000.

Those fans paid more this year.

Ticket-selling website Vividseats.com said prices were up 120 percent for the Russell Athletic Bowl, and 13 percent for the Capital One Bowl.

Florida Citrus Sports officials said tickets were still available even though they’re projecting a pretty full house for both games.

“We’re not expecting both games to sell out but definitely good crowds. This will be the last time that games are played in the stadium as we know it right now,” said Greg Creese with Florida Citrus Sports. “In January, everything below the upper bowl is coming down. Our reconstructed stadium will be here next year. For those that have some memories, maybe it’ll be a good time to see one final game in the stadium as it sits.”

Tickets are still available for all the games.
